Zsa Varudo is the main antagonist of Mobile Suit Gundam 00A. He is an Innovade who took part in the Innovator War as leader of the Axis Empire, an army of Innovators. He pilots the GNMS-0000A Atheon Gundam.
Personality & Character[]
Zsa is a sinister man, who held the rank of captain during his time as a member of the Earth Sphere Federation. He was created based on Ribbons Almark's genetic template, inheriting many physical and personality traits from him.
Zsa is a gifted mobile suit designer, using machines from before the ELS conflict as the basis for many of the machines he designed. He's keen intellect, charisma, and battle sense helped him sway and manipulate many who served under him. His goal, like that of Ribbons Almark, is to re-unite the factions of the Earth Sphere, and gain dominance over it.

Zsa, like most innovades, is a genetically modified human created by Veda. Thus, he cannot age, and possesses many of the basic abilities of Innovades. He possesses the ability to use Quantum Brainwaves, and he has shown the abilities of a Level-A Quantum Brainwave user, making him unique amongst his people. Zsa belongs among the combat-type Innovades; Innovades with efficient use of quantum brainwaves, they show great coordination with their heightened reflexes. It gives them great ability when piloting a mobile suit and superb combat capabilities while in a variety of scenarios.
Like all Innovades, Zsa can also use his quantum brainwaves to connect to Veda. Unlike most, he can acces up to Level 7 data, giving him access to Celestial Being's most crucial data. because of this, he was able to acquire blueprints for mobile suits that Veda had stored. Like Ribbons and, another Innovade of the same genetic type, Beside Pain, Zsa can upload his consciousness to Veda, making him able to resurrect himself. However, he is only capable of making the transfer once, as it takes too long to send all of the data back and forth from his body.

Axis Empire[]
The Axis Empire is the group that Zsa formed in order to gain control over the Earth Sphere.
Stella is his right-hand person. Zsa placed her under the control of the ground forces of the Axis Empire. He shares nearly all of his secrets with her alone. While he does take notice of her unshakable loyalty to him, he does not notice her own personal feelings towards him.
Trivia[]
- Zsa's name is a reference to the Tarot Card, "The world". This also happens to be based of of the japanese pronunciation of the card name.
- His name is also a reference to the character DIO of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. His Stand was named The World, which would be pronounced in japanese "Za Warudo".
- Zsa is based off of Julius Caesar of the Roman Empire.
