The LNS-9137 Nightingale is a Newtype-use commander type mobile suit that appears in Mobile Suit Gundam: Emerald Memories, and its sequel Mobile Suit Gundam: Emerald Memories - Weiss. It is co-piloted by both, Jack Crawford and Serena Winston.

Technology

Armed with the latest Newtype technology, the Nightingale is considered to be the most advanced, if not powerful Newtype-specific suit made to this day; it also makes use of the bio-sensors, the Psycommu System, and the Psychoframe to balance out the pilot's Newtype abilities.

One unique feature of the Nightingale is its Quantum Drive, a Newtype-specific power plant that uses Bio-Sensors and the Psycommu system to even out the Psychoframe Construct's room temperature to prevent overheating. The Quantum Drive can also use its own unique set of funnels in its funnel launcher.

The funnels powered by the Nightingale can operate under two different modes: Offense and Defense. While offense mode operates in the same way as previous Newtype-use mobile suits that use funnels, defense mode will help defend an ally unit from any impending attacks from an enemy unit, this feature was shown in Chapter 27.
