The GN-10 Nova Gundam is an Advanced Mobile Suit used by Zeren Seigerou. It was built from new advanced parts, and was built on top of the frame of the GN-01 Gundam.
History[]
When the GN-01 Gundam was badly damaged in a battle against Bryll Hisaka and the Imperial Avalon Mobile Suit, Dylan Brighthart mysteriously was able to change the shape of the Gundam's G-Blade. However, this put vast amounts of strain on his body, and he passed out. The Gundam was then recovered. As Dylan recovered, the Gundam was sent back to the new Development Center on Varelis 4. There, it was rebuilt as the GN-10 Nova Gundam.
It was first launched at the peak of an ambush by Imperial Forces. Seeing his friends being at risk of destruction by the Imperials, Dylan, still recovering, pushed towards the Launch bay, ignoring direct orders. It is before he launches that he reveals that when he changed the G-Blade's shape, his true identity, the first Zenith, Zeren Seigerou, surfaced. He then launches in the Nova Gundam and saves the other pilots.
The Nova Gundam was at the head of many other missions throughout the rest of the war, until it was seemingly destroyed in the central power core of the Imperial Flagship Yamada. However, it is eventually revealed that Zeren in fact created a protective shield by using his metal-manipulation abilities to use parts of the ship. When the ship exploded the Nova was catapulted into space.
After floating for a few hours, the Nova was recovered by a transport ship returning to the mining settlement Lambda Colony. There, the Nova was shoddily repaired, and it was used in basic tasks repairing the colony.
It was next seen 4 years later, when the Earth Federation ship Starlight's two Zenith-Optimised Zenku Units, piloted by siblings Varik and Karik Ala, were battling Samuel Dalton's Coup D'etat forces on one of Mars' moons. It jumped in to help the Zenkus, and eventually helped to defeat them. Zeren then reveals himself to the siblings.
After being properly repaired by Helena Masuda after she joins Zeren, along with Leanne Hideki, on Lambda Colony, augmenting it with ZenSteel Armour and G-Blades. It was then that it was transferred back to the repaired Nikos, where it was used in many other battles in the early and middle parts of the Second War.
It was eventually unrepairable damaged.
